Card Rewards for 3rd Party Cards

The take-up of many pre-paid card programmes is low because the benefits they provide are limited and outweighed by the cost of ownership. ICS Card Rewards can provide extra value to card programmes by offering a cashback of between 4% and 12% on retail shopping, driving customer acquisition, loyalty and increased usage.

Key components of Card Rewards are:

  • Pre-Paid Cards. ICS can support any pre-paid or credit card programme as long as it is offered to employee, affinity or ‘membership’ groups. We encourage members to load a fixed sum onto the card from their salary or bank account each month for every-day shopping and to help with budgeting, plus additional sums for one-off purchases. 
  • Cashback.  Card holders earn cash-back of between 4% and 12% when shopping with participating retail partners. The cashback earned is paid into the card’s cashback account where members can view the balance and decide how they wish to use the cashback rebate.

    Members have the option of paying the rebate back onto their card, purchasing gift cards from a wide range of retailers, allowing it to accumulate for major purchasing events such as holidays and Christmas or exchanging the cashback for aspirational rewards such as adventure days or weekend breaks.
    Offering cash-back, rather than discounts, reinforces the value members are getting from the benefits programme and the choices they have for redeeming their cashback will cater for personal preferences and ultimately drive long term loyalty to the card programme. 

  • Rewards Portal. The portal is designed to create affinity with the participating organisation and encourage regular visits to reinforce the benefits of the programme. Features include:
    • An easy way to manage the card, offering balance checking, loading and managing of cashback earned.
    • A range of selected on-line retailers and promotions where members can make additional savings (see below). When members shop with participating retailers they will earn cashback and then any additional discounts offered by the retailer for on-line purchases.
    • Our retail partners will be heavily promoted on the portal and they will have the opportunity of running regular offers to ensure that their brands are ‘front of mind’ when our members visit the high street.
    • ICS will work with our on-line retail partners to make exceptional offers from time to time, which will encourage members to visit the site and further enforce long term use of the programme.
